Privacy policy

This policy covers blescoach.com: the pages you read and the two forms on it, Contact us and Find a coach. It doesn't cover the Bles app or the Bles Coach web app, which have their own privacy policies [link once published].

Who we are

blescoach.com is run by [company legal name], [registered address] ("Bles", "we"). For anything about your data, email hello@blesapp.com.

What we collect

Only what you type into a form and send, plus a little about how you reached it.

Contact us (for coaches)

• Your name and email.
• If you give them: phone number, business name, website or Instagram.
• What you're asking about, how many clients you coach, the app you use now, and your message.
• Whether you'd like a call and the best time of day.
• Whether you ticked the box for Bles Coach news.

Find a coach

• Your name and email, and your phone number if you give it.
• Your goals, how and how often you want to train, and your training experience.
• For in-person coaching: the kind of places you'd train, your town or city, your gym if you name it, and how far you can travel. We never ask for your address.
• Your message, if you write one.

If you tell us about an injury or a health condition, through a goal like "Come back from injury" or in your message, we use it only to suggest coaches who can help with it. [Health details need explicit consent in the UK and EU: confirm the wording and add a consent line to the form if needed.]

With either form

• Which link opened the form, the page you sent it from, and your time zone, so we reply at a sensible hour.
• The website that sent you to us and any campaign tags in the link you followed (for example utm_source).

We don't collect anything from pages you only read. There are no cookies, no analytics or advertising trackers, and the fonts are served from this site.

What we use it for

• To reply to you, and to call you if you asked us to.
• For Find a coach: to suggest coaches who fit what you told us.
• To send Bles Coach news, only if you ticked the box. Every email has a way to unsubscribe.
• To understand which pages and campaigns bring people to us.

[Legal basis, if you are in the UK or EU: your consent for news emails; our legitimate interest in replying to a message you sent us; steps you asked us to take before a contract for coaches.]

Coaches and your details

If you use Find a coach, we don't share your details with any coach until you tell us which one you'd like to talk to, and then only with that coach. Coaches only ever see your area, never an address.

Who else handles it

We don't sell your details. These services handle them for us, only to do the jobs below:

• Netlify hosts this site and receives the form when you send it.
• Google stores each message in our leads spreadsheet (Google Sheets).
• Resend delivers the email that tells our team about your message.

These services may process data outside your country, including in the United States. [Describe the safeguards relied on, for example standard contractual clauses.]

How long we keep it

[We keep messages for up to N months after our last contact with you, then delete them.] If you become a Bles Coach customer, your account is covered by the Bles Coach privacy policy instead.

Stored in your browser

• If you switch between light and dark, we remember your choice on this device.
• The campaign tags and the site that sent you are kept until you close the tab, so they can go with a form you send.

Neither is sent anywhere unless you send a form.

Your choices and rights

Email hello@blesapp.com to see what we hold about you, correct it, delete it, or stop news emails. [Add the rights and the regulator for your jurisdiction, for example the UK ICO or your local data protection authority.]

Children

This site and its forms are for adults. [Minimum age to be confirmed.]

Changes

If we change this policy we'll update the date at the top of this page.
